Cosmos point pays great attention to the details of equipment – weapons, backpacks, a lot of grenades, and other devices.

Control a squad of fighters in turn-based battles. More resources taken out of the mission – more improvements at the base. There are no useless items, there is a small backpack. The game pays great attention to the details of equipment – armor, weapons, backpacks, a lot of grenades, and other devices to achieve goals, and do not forget the cartridges; without them the weapon will not shoot! Equip each fighter before landing on the mission, find equipment at locations or take it away from enemies. You can change any item of equipment right during the battle; you do not need to wait for a special moment or return to base.
This is a moderate ship builder, scavenger, above-the-fray shooter, character builder, and more, with a minor but acceptable storyline. Other games do each of these better, but this is a well-thought-out amalgamation of these various genres. Hence, “the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.” Combat is both simple and subtle. Each character has 8 action points. When used correctly, they allow for baiting, scouting, overwhelming, waiting out, flushing out, and anticipating enemies (e.g. with delayed explosives). The enemies are decently varied. Each grenade type, medical device, and weapon has subtle yet useful differences.
Cosmos point starts players with a submachine gun and an assault rifle, making it easier to scavenge two different types of ammunition. Sniper rifles and shotguns are best left until they can be upgraded into more advanced versions in the workshops. These feel more suited to later playstyles that focus on variety. It’s a turn-based looter set in space. The station is nearly fully repaired (excluding room upgrades), with what appears to be a new area waiting afterward. The game feels slightly lacking in weapon and gear variety, though more options may open up later. Overall, Cosmos point is a solid game for the price and worth recommending to anyone who enjoys turn-based combat with looting.
There are a handful of negative reviews complaining about balance and AI, but those issues don’t seem apparent. They likely stem from players trying to rush into combat without using cover or managing line of sight. Cosmos point requires careful positioning—using cover, peeking in and out of line of sight, and planning movements. It’s not the kind of game where running in and standing still while shooting guarantees success. Cover from objects and walls (such as partially hiding behind a corner) is an important mechanic, although it’s not clearly explained or demonstrated like it is in many similar games. This is something the game and tutorial could present more effectively.

Features of Cosmos point:
- Customize weapons to suit your goals, collect loot in missions, upgrade the space station and leave this sector of space, which has nothing but a graveyard of ships, looters and other dangers!
- Take out as many resources as possible from missions to improve the space station, this will make it possible to store more items on the base, create the necessary items from other items and open new locations.
- The death of a fighter means the loss of equipment, some of which can be picked up by the rest of the squad if they have a place for it.
- This Game may contain content not appropriate for all ages including Violence and Strong Language. Characters die in an explosive way with blood.
