Ourlands is a cozy sandbox island builder from solo developer GrahamOfLegend, and it absolutely delivers on its promise. No goals, no timers, no stress — just palm trees, a campfire, and total freedom.

The art style is gorgeous, the music is the kind of mellow soundtrack anyone could fall asleep to (in the best way), and the discovery loop keeps things surprisingly engaging as new items are uncovered in genuinely delightful ways. The postcard mode is a nice touch for sharing creations, though a way to browse postcards in-game would make it even better. A few minor issues showed up early on, but a quick patch from the developer sorted most of them out — impressive for a one-man studio. If you’re looking for a game that feels like taking a breath, this is it.
